Support Line:
Confidential emotional support via phone, email and post - for children, young adults and adults
Extensive information about mental health and diagnoses, support and services guides, treatments, and legal rights.  Campaigning to imrpove services and raise awareness.
Crisis Support
If you are feeling unsafe or in crisis, please call 999 or take yourself to your closest A&E department.

Non-medical support for those in suicidal crisis - 4 night/5 day stays available.
Specific Support
National Self Harm Network:
A forum to support those who self harm, and to provide information for the parents/carers of those who self harm
OCD Action:
Information, support line, local support groups, forum. Working to raise awareness of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD).
Hearing Voices Network:
Raising awareness, exploring meaning and seeking understanding for those who hear voices, see visions or have other unusual perceptions.  Support groups and an information line.
Support for anyone affected by eating disorders, including helpline, online support groups, treatment directory, and peer support groups.
Anxiety UK:
Anxiety UK support those living with anxiety and anxiety-based depression by providing information, support and understanding.
Survivors of bereavement by suicide.  Local groups, helpline, help for under-18's.
Winston's Wish:
Support services and resources to help bereaved children.
Supporting non-abusing parents and carers of sexually abused children.  National free helpline, advice, advocacy, workshops, counselling and support groups.
Alcoholics Anonymous:
National helpline, email support, and national AA support group meetings.
Supporting those whose life is, or has been, affected by someone else's drinking.  Support for teenage relatives and friends who drink.  Support meetings and helpline.
BPD World:
Support for those, or those caring for someone, with a Personality Disorder.
Young Minds:
Campaigning to improve the emotional wellbeing and mental health of children and young people.  Includes a parents' helpline, and HeadMeds website to inform young people about mental health medication

Free, confidential help for young people under the age of 25.  Website holds a searchable directory of support services.
Family Lives:
Telephone, online and email support for parenting difficulties and family life.  Parenting courses available.  Services include TeenBoundaries, befriending, supporting prisoners' and offenders; families, anti-bullying and special education needs.
ChildLine - national helpline for children under 18, NSPCC helpline for those worried about a child.  Supporting children living with parents with mental health issues.
